Informed Preparedness Matters
At Tor-Con, we strive to enhance community safety and preparedness by providing a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and training for all stakeholders in emergency management.
Our Mission
Tor-Con, a pioneering tornado conference, is established to gather experts, first responders, and concerned citizens for three enriching days focused on tornado, severe weather preparedness and response strategies. This landmark event aims to foster connections among federal, state and local leaders, emergency managers, researchers, NGOs, VOADs, meteorologists, storm-chasers and practitioners. Created out of a necessity for widespread knowledge and training, Tor-Con is set to become the leading conference of its kind in 2027, uniting diverse voices dedicated to saving lives and property before disaster strikes.
